Nourishing Sleeping Nail Mask

This paints on the nails and cuticles and goes on looking clear and slightly shimmery. It works overnight and dries very quickly so I can paint it on and then pick up a book to read without worrying about it coming off everywhere. It's supposed to be massaged in so probably best applied to one finger at a time. It has a slight scent and washes off easily in the morning. It's quick and easy to use, and I've been using it for a couple of weeks and so far my nails do seem to be looking healthier so I shall continue with it.

I'm very pleased with this overnight nail mask. I have been using it about a week - so early days - but so far, I'm impressed with the results. The liquid is blue in the bottle, but clear on application, with a glitter residue. It leaves your nails shiny, with glittery edges, so be sure to wash it off carefully in the mornings! The first time I used it, it stung my cuticles a little, but this has not happened again, so I have persisted with the product. My nails look healthy & strong and seem to be growing a little faster than usual. I will persevere and update this review when I finish the bottle. Oh, and incidentally, it smells lovely!

I have been using it for several nights and it doesn't seem to have hydrated as well as cuticle and nail oils and serums.

Firstly I wonder why it is glittery ... it is a vegan plant based product, but it was impossible to see the ingredients until I actually took a photo of the underside of the product sticker and could read everything which is included. Yes, there are some nice ingredients such as plant proteins, keratin, chamomile, but also chemicals which may be there as preservatives, but I am no expert.

It looks more like a nail varnish than a nail treatment, and when you put it on your nails become pearly and glittery. You put it over the nails and cuticles before going to bed and massage it in. This is not so easy as it dries very quickly and when I get to the 8th or 9th nail, it is normally already fully dry. So it does act exactly like a mask and doesn't come off overnight - you don't need to wear gloves like you do with cuticle oils. In the morning it washes off with soap and water.

I haven't seen a major change in my nails yet, but maybe I need to persevere longer with it. I do think that it might be strengthening my nails, but the effect on my cuticles is minimal so I am going to start using my regular cuticle oil again.

I like the fact that this is manufactured in the EU, but still wonder why it is necessary to put something into the formula to make it blue and glittery because in my mind this sort of colour suggests synthetic, and not natural!
